1. Booking & Payments
A retreat space is secured once a non-refundable $700 deposit has been received.
If you select a payment plan, the remaining balance must be paid in full by the final payment date stated on the booking page.
If you choose to pay in full, the $700 deposit portion remains non-refundable.
Failure to complete payment by the final due date may result in forfeiture of your place and deposit.
All pricing is listed in AUD.
By completing your booking and payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Upon payment of the final balance, the entire retreat is non refundable. (In the case of exceptional circumstances please contact us)
If the entire retreat gets cancelled, all payments are refundable.

2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. However, due to upfront venue, staffing, and catering commitments:
• All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
• Once the final balance has been paid, the full retreat fee is non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for:
• Change of mind
• Illness or injury (including COVID)
• Personal emergencies
• Travel disruption
• Failure to attend
• Late arrival or early departure
Payments cannot be transferred to future retreats unless explicitly approved by Sound of Soma.
In exceptional circumstances, participants may contact us directly. While refunds cannot be guaranteed, we will review requests with care and transparency.
Participants may transfer their place to another participant, subject to approval by Sound of Soma.
3. Retreat Cancellation by Sound of Soma
In the unlikely event that Sound of Soma must cancel a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (including venue issues, insufficient bookings, or events beyond our control), all monies paid directly to Sound of Soma will be refunded in full.
Sound of Soma is not responsible for additional expenses incurred, including transport, accommodation outside the retreat, flights, or other related costs.
4. Travel & Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the retreat venue.
We strongly encourage participants to obtain appropriate travel insurance if required, including cancellation protection and personal medical coverage.
Sound of Soma is not responsible for travel disruptions, personal cancellations, illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent attendance.
5. Health & Medical Responsibility
By attending a Sound of Soma retreat, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.
Retreat activities may include:
• Somatic movement
• Fascial release
• Sound healing
• Breathwork
• Emotional processing exercises
• Group sharing sessions
• Outdoor activities
You confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate.
Participants agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, or psychological concerns at the time of booking.
This retreat is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.
If you are currently under medical care, you are responsible for consulting with your healthcare provider prior to attending.
6. Personal Responsibility & Conduct
By attending the retreat, participants agree to:
• Take full responsibility for their physical and emotional wellbeing
• Respect the venue, facilitators, and other participants
• Maintain a safe and supportive group environment
• Refrain from disruptive or unsafe behaviour
Sound of Soma reserves the right to remove any participant from the retreat without refund if behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive to the group experience.
7. Substance Policy
To maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants:
• The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited during the retreat.
• Alcohol consumption must be moderate and respectful of the retreat environment.
Sound of Soma reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe or disruptive.
8. Room Allocation
Rooms are allocated in order of booking and payment.
While room preferences will be considered, Sound of Soma reserves the right to adjust room allocations if required for operational or group balance reasons.
Priority room selection may be offered to guests who qualify under specific booking conditions (such as Pay in Full bonuses).
9. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the retreat.
Sound of Soma is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
10. Media & Photography
Photos or videos may be taken during the retreat for marketing and promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in media content, please notify Sound of Soma in writing prior to the retreat.
11. Liability Waiver
By attending the retreat, participants acknowledge that all activities are voluntary and may involve physical, emotional, or psychological experiences.
Participants agree that Sound of Soma, its facilitators, staff, and partners shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or personal impact that may occur during or after participation in retreat activities.
Participation is undertaken entirely at the participant’s own risk.
12. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While Sound of Soma retreats are designed to support wellbeing, personal insight, and nervous system regulation, individual experiences and outcomes will vary.
Sound of Soma does not guarantee specific physical, emotional, psychological, or health outcomes.
13. Force Majeure
Sound of Soma is not liable for events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Public health orders
• Venue cancellations
• Severe weather events
14. Agreement
By completing your booking and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
