THE LOCATION
Just 90 minutes from Melbourne and only 15 minutes inland from Lorne and the beaches of the Great Ocean Road, this retreat is set within the quiet expanse of the Otways.
Surrounded by 60 acres of rolling farmland, rainforest pockets, lakes and native bushland, the property offers panoramic valley views, long timber verandahs and cosy log fires with no traffic, no city noise, and space to truly exhale.
Kangaroos graze at sunset, parrots move through the trees, and the only sounds at night are frogs on the lake and the occasional owl calling through the valley. A meandering creek runs through the land, and hidden paths lead to quiet corners perfect for reflection or stillness.
It’s countryside immersion with the ocean just minutes away. The perfect balance of forest, farmland and coastline.

SOUND HEALING & BIOFIELD TUNING
Through intentional sound healing and frequency work, we gently clear stored emotional charge held in the body and biofield. This helps release subtle stress imprints that keep you looping the same tension patterns and creates space for calm and clarity to return.

Meet your facilitators

Ange Monitto
I’m Ange Monitto, a Melbourne-based sound healing practitioner supporting people who are navigating stress, burnout, chronic fatigue and emotional overwhelm. My journey it began during my own collapse into survival mode. In my late 20s, despite a full social life and constant movement, I was battling chronic illness severe fatigue, anxiety, recurring illness and burnout. After a sudden health crash which left me bed-bound with heart palpitations, brain fog and debilitating exhaustion for months countless medical tests returned “normal” results but I knew something deeper was wrong.
What I came to understand was that my body hadn’t failed me it had been overwhelmed for years. Stress, emotional suppression and constant pushing had embedded themselves physically. Treating symptoms wasn’t enough. The root patterns in my nervous system, my body, and my energy field needed to be addressed. Discovering sound healing became a turning point creating a release and calm my body hadn’t felt in years, and opening the door to real recovery.
I went on to earn my Diploma in Sound Therapy, train in Tibetan singing bowls in India, and deepen my understanding of how stored stress and trauma live in the body. Today, I create grounded, structured spaces where people can step out of survival mode and learn how to reset safely and sustainably. This retreat is built from lived experience designed to offer the safety, clarity and depth I once needed myself.

Jack Lawton
I’m Jack Lawton, and my work bridges science, embodiment, and lived experience.
With a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Psychology, I’ve long been fascinated by how stress shapes the body - from fascia and breath patterns to nervous system regulation and behaviour. That understanding became personal when I realised I had lost access to my own expressive body.
Through years of performance, pressure, and chronic activation, I became disconnected from parts of myself. Rebuilding that connection meant returning to my voice, somatic practice, and play - learning how to feel safe in expression again. I also had to consciously develop emotional processing skills that weren’t modelled for me growing up, seeking out education and training to understand how to regulate, integrate, and work with emotion rather than suppress it.
I’ve trained in Human Garage fascial maneuvers, Les Mills Group Fitness Instruction, and as a Singing Athlete Vocal Coach, and I hold Reiki Master certification. At The Reset, I guide the somatic and physical layers of the work - helping you reconnect with your body, restore regulation, and rebuild trust in yourself from the inside out.

If the entire retreat gets cancelled, all payments are refundable.
