Nervous System ResetSound Healing & Somatics

For when you are exhausted but cannot switch off. 15 minutes of somatic movement and tools you can take home, then 60 minutes of sound healing. We move the stress out of your body first, so your system can finally let go.

75 minutes · somatics, then sound healing · everyone welcome

Is this you?

Tired, wired and never really off

  • You are exhausted all day, then wide awake at night with your mind racing through tomorrow.
  • You wake at 3am and lie there, heart going, unable to get back to sleep.
  • Your jaw is clenched and your shoulders sit up near your ears, and you only notice when someone points it out.
  • You snap at the people you love over small things, then feel guilty about it.
  • Your chest feels tight or your gut is unsettled whenever the pressure is on.
  • You cannot sit through a show without picking up your phone.
  • You have tried meditation, but lying still makes you more restless, not less.
  • A holiday helps for a week, then the same tension is back by Tuesday.

If you nodded at a few of these, you are not broken and it is not a willpower problem. These are common signs of a nervous system stuck in fight or flight: a stress response that switched on and never got its ending. This class is built for exactly that, with movement to release it from your body and sound to help your whole system come back to rest.

How it works

Your 75 minutes, in order

First 15 min

Move it out

Gentle somatic movement, shaking and release work. Nothing athletic and nothing you can get wrong. The aim is to give your body the physical ending to stress it has been waiting for.

Tools to keep

Take it home

While you move, we teach you simple tools to regulate your nervous system and switch off on your own, so the reset does not end when class does.

  • Somatic shaking to discharge stress
  • Breath with a longer exhale
  • Ways to come back to your body when your mind is racing
Then 60 min

Sound healing

You lie down under a blanket for a full sound healing journey: Tibetan and crystal bowls, layered with live looping and tuned to 396 Hz, 639 Hz and 963 Hz. By now your body is ready to let go, and most people drop deeper than in a sound bath alone.

Why we move first

Adrenaline, cortisol and the missing ending

When something stresses you, your adrenal glands release adrenaline within seconds, then cortisol over the minutes that follow. Both get your body ready to move: heart rate up, faster breathing, muscles braced, blood sugar raised. That is the fight or flight response, and it is designed to end with movement.

Modern stress rarely ends that way. The email, the traffic, the deadline: you sit through it, and the chemistry stays in your system. Cortisol in particular can stay raised for hours, which is associated with feeling wired, sleeping lightly and holding tension in your body.

Then there is everything that never switches off. Wi-Fi, screens, notifications and constant digital noise keep stimulating your nervous system and your energy field all day long. Just "relaxing" is not enough to clear it.

That is why we do not ask you to lie down straight away. The first 15 minutes use movement to burn off what your body mobilised and signal that you are safe. By the time the sound starts, your system can drop into rest instead of fighting it.

The stress response, with and without a releaseStress activation rises sharply when stress hits. Without a release it stays raised for hours. With 15 minutes of movement it falls back to baseline, and the 60 minutes of sound take it below baseline into rest and repair. Stress hits 15 min movement 60 min sound healing your everyday baseline rest and repair Adrenaline: seconds Without a release: cortisol can stay up for hours Move first, then sound Stress activation Time

An illustration of the idea, not measured data. Adrenaline peaks fast and clears fast. Cortisol rises more slowly and can linger. Movement helps complete the response, and the sound takes you into rest.

Body, mind and energy field

Why working on one layer is not enough

If you have done the therapy, tried the meditation and read the books, and you still land back in the same place, it is usually not a willpower problem. It is a layers problem.

A belief in the mind, like "I am not safe", triggers the nervous system. Cortisol keeps you in survival, and survival tightens the fascia in your body. That tension disrupts your energy field, which signals straight back to the mind: stay alert. It is a loop, and if you work on one part of it, the rest keeps running.
Body

Move the stress out

Stress lives in muscle and fascia as much as in your head. Talking about it does not release it from your shoulders.

In this class: 15 minutes of somatic movement.

Mind and nervous system

Give it the tools

Understanding your patterns is useful, but a nervous system learns through experience and repetition, not explanation.

In this class: tools you practise and take home.

Energy field

Clear the frequency

Even when the body and mind settle, the field can keep holding the pattern and sending it back.

In this class: 60 minutes of sound at 396, 639 and 963 Hz.

Make it a rhythm

One class resets your day. Weekly resets your baseline.

A single class brings your stress down for a while, and most people feel it that night. But a nervous system that has been switched on for years does not relearn in one hour. It responds to repetition.

Coming weekly is where people tell us things start to hold: they sleep better between classes, react less, and start the day closer to calm. That is the change the regulars in our films talk about.

★★★★★
"Looking back at my first bath, I was a nervous wreck. 6 months later, it's incredible how different I feel and am as a person... My first few sessions were pretty intense as my nervous system was still in overdrive. So if you experience the same, have faith that the good stuff really comes through after session 3 or 4."

Questions

Before you book

Do I need to be fit or flexible?

No. The movement is gentle and you go at your own pace. There is nothing athletic about it, and you can sit out anything that does not feel right.

What should I wear?

Something you can move in for the first 15 minutes and lie down in for the next 60. Warm socks help. There is a full guide on what to wear.

How is this different from a Sound Bath?

A Sound Bath is all sound from the start. Nervous System Reset, Sound Healing & Somatics opens with 15 minutes of movement and tools first, which helps if you arrive wired and find it hard to lie still.

What tools will I learn?

Simple ones you can use anywhere: somatic shaking, breath with a longer exhale, and ways to come back to your body when your mind is racing. The point is that you can do them at home, at your desk or before bed.

How often should I come?

Weekly is where most people notice the change start to hold. One class shows you what it feels like.

Is it okay if I get emotional or shaky?

Yes. Shaking, tears and big yawns are common as your nervous system lets go. It passes, and nobody is watching.
