Corporate sound healing · Melbourne
An hour where your team lies down and nothing is asked of them. We bring the instruments to your workplace, or you come to our studio in Windsor.
Why teams book this
A webinar at one o'clock is another meeting. A step challenge is another thing to keep up with. A resilience workshop asks people who are already flat to sit upright and participate. All of it lands on the same stretched hour.
This is the opposite. The room goes dark, people lie down, and for an hour nothing is required of them. No sharing, no exercises, no going around the circle. Most of the feedback we get afterwards is some version of the same sentence: that was the first time I stopped all week.
Worth being straight about
Since 1 December 2025 the Victorian OHS (Psychological Health) Regulations name five psychosocial hazards employers have to manage, and they are explicit that training must not be the predominant control measure. WorkSafe Victoria took more than 7,100 enquiries in 2024-25.
The cost sits in the claims. Safe Work Australia put mental health claims at a median 35.7 weeks off work against 7.4 for all serious claims, and $67,400 against $16,300, in 2022-23. Beyond Blue's 2025 research found one in two Australian workers had been burnt out in the past year.
A sound session is not a control measure and we will not sell it to you as one. It does not fix workload, a bad manager or an unreasonable deadline, and anyone telling you an hour of anything discharges a legal duty is selling something. What it does is give a stretched nervous system somewhere to actually put the week down. That is worth doing on its own terms.

The mechanism
Sound is vibration, and it does not stop at the ears. When the bowls and gongs are played the sound travels through muscle, fluid and fascia. At the same time the rhythm is steady and predictable, which is the part that matters most: brainwaves slow, breathing lengthens on its own, and the nervous system reads the whole thing as one message. Nothing is coming. You can stand down.
What people report afterwards is fairly consistent. Shoulders that have dropped. A head that is quieter. Sleeping better that night. Some people fall asleep in the session, which is fine and fairly common in a room full of people who are short on rest.
On the evidence: a 2023 controlled trial put 50 people through singing bowl sessions against progressive muscle relaxation and a waitlist, and found improved heart rate variability and state anxiety dropping below the clinical threshold. It is one small study and we would rather say that plainly than dress it up. We are not making medical claims, and sound healing is not a treatment for a diagnosed condition.
The longer version, including what the Victorian regulations actually require: workplace wellbeing activities that actually work.

On the day
Usually about forty minutes before. Instruments in, lights down, mats out if you need them. Your team does not have to move furniture or organise anything.
In whatever they wore to work. We say a few words about what is about to happen so nobody is wondering, and then we start.
Crystal and Tibetan bowls, gongs, chimes and voice, played live around the room. No recordings. Nothing is asked of anyone the entire time.
Gently, rather than snapping the lights on. Then we pack down and get out of your way.
The practical part
Where
We come to your workplace or a venue you have booked. All we need is a room where people can lie down and the lights can go low.
Or bring the team to our studio at 5/1A Windsor Place, Windsor, which holds up to 20 people lying down, ten minutes from the CBD.
What it costs
It depends on the size of the team, where it runs and how long you want it, so there is no list price and we are not going to pretend there is.
Tell us the number of people, the suburb and the window you have, and we will come back with a price. Usually same day.
Questions
Sixty minutes is the usual shape and it works well inside a lunch hour or at the end of the day. We can run it shorter or longer if that suits your day better. Tell us the window you have and we will build it to fit.
Either at your workplace or a venue you book, or at our studio at 5/1A Windsor Place, Windsor, which holds up to 20 people lying down.
If we come to you, all we need is a room where people can lie down and the lights can go low.
Nothing. We bring the instruments, we can provide mats if you need them, and we set up and pack down ourselves. People come as they are, in work clothes, and lie down.
No. That is most of the point. Nobody shares, nobody performs, nobody is put on the spot. People lie down and listen. For a team that has sat through a lot of wellbeing sessions, that is usually the part they are relieved about.
At our studio, up to 20 lying down. At your workplace it depends on the room. We have run it for small teams and for larger groups, so tell us the number and the space and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.
It is quoted on the size of the team, where it runs and how long you want it, so there is no list price. Send us the shape of it and we will come back with a number.
Enquire
How many people, roughly where, and when you are thinking. That is enough to start.
